An opportunity has arisen for a level 2 (working towards level 3), or a level 3 Accredited tennis coach to join the team here at Oxstalls Sports Park in Gloucester.

With a 7 day a week, all encompassing programme, the initial focus is to create additional mini and junior programmes on Thursday afternoons and Sunday mornings with scope for much more on other days of the week.

There is a steady supply of cover needed for the existing team and a chance to get to know our players/families to create demand for 121 lessons. There are also opportunities to run internal and external competitions and string rackets. We also have great links with local primary and secondary schools as well as the University of Gloucestershire and Gloucestershire College.

Oxstalls Sports Park is a multi award winning Community Indoor Tennis Centre. We have 6 indoor acrylic and 4 outdoor artificial clay floodlit court. We run a wide variety of tennis activity including:

Tots, Mini & Junior coaching
Adult coaching
Adult socials
DS Active

We also have a soft play, meeting rooms, hockey pitch and part manage University of Gloucestershire's facilities including 2x 3G pitches, sports Arena and Cricket Pavilion.

Your passion for tennis and coaching, along with your confidence and experience with all abilities and ages, means you will be ideal for this role. You will be able to demonstrate and execute a fun based approach to your sessions, engaging those you are teaching in tennis and developing their love of the sport.

You will be organised, professional and pro-active in order to provide the best possible experience to our customers.

You will be LTA Youth trained. Experience of working at a CITC (community indoor tennis centre), along with running internal/external competitions and tournament referring is desirable but not essential.
