Forest Hall Community Tennis Club are seeking to recruit an LTA Accredited Level 2 (or above Tennis Coach) to deliver and support in the delivery of various group coaching sessions.
The successful applicant will be offered hours at commencement with the opportunity to work with the Head Coach and Club Committee to develop new sessions and priviate lesson options in the coming months.

We are looking to employ an energetic and passionate Tennis Coach to provide tennis lessons to club members of varying ages and skillsets. The Tennis Coach’s responsibilities include evaluating students' performance, ensuring that all tennis equipment is in good working order, and educating students on tennis game strategies and good sportsmanship. You should also maintain a professional appearance at all times.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a venue where opportunities will be created as positive development of the club continues.
We run Summer Tennis Camps, Club Tournaments, Social Tennis Days, Adult Club Play and various League Teams in local leagues.
We have and wish to develop further relationships with a range of local Primary and Secondary schools.

Previous coaching experience is essential.
It is preferable but not essential to be able to undertake day time coaching as this is an area to be developed by the club.

Rates and hours will be agreed with the Head Coach as part of the recruitment process.

Our club is located in the heart of Forest Hall in Springfield Park, it is very much a Community club. Forest Hall is located 4.6 miles north east of Newcastle City Centre.

The club has three tarmac tennis courts with floodlighting for all year round play. The coaching team have access to the clubhouse and we have all required coaching equipment.

To be successful as a Tennis Coach, you should be knowledgeable of different coaching methods and able to perform first aid as needed.

You will need to be able to motivate students as well as demonstrate exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Assisting students in developing and improving various tennis skills while being able to determine areas in need of improvement.
Coordinating and conducting individual and group tennis lessons.
Supporting the Head Coach to develop suitable training programs for members based on their age, objectives, and individual skillsets.
Developing innovative ways to assist beginner or younger members in learning and remembering the rules of the game.
Identifying the learning styles that work best for each player and adapting all coaching methods accordingly.
Providing a secure and productive learning environment for players in total compliance with all Safeguarding requirements.

Hold and maintain through Continued Professional Development all required LTA Coaching, Safeguarding and First Aid certifications.
