Expression of interest - Head coach partnership oppurtunity
We are looking for a coach or coaches that are keen to take up a head coach position and build up a tennis club with the help of our current coaching team. The tennis club has existing sessions and has an amazing potential for the right coach or coaches.
Initially the role would provide a set number of hours of group lessons and these can be adapted and designed with the club and the successful candidate along with allowing the coach to build up individual lessons.
There are also potential school links, time for performance squads and team coaching . The role will be a self employed role , pay including incentive schemes will be discussed with applicants linked with experience and qualification.
We are a team of 4 coaches that are enthusiastic about growing the game of tennis and offering all ages , ability or disability sessions that develop a player in a fun and progressive manner . “Where there is a will there is a way! “.
We are constantly being offered work outside of our base club which we have to turn down due to time and now we would like to expand our team and reach more venues.
The coach or coaches would have the opportunity to have mentoring in areas they wanted to develop , whether it be disability , performance or development coaches.
The coach or coaches must have experience with running junior and adult groups , work well with others and be organised. They would be the opportunity to play in the club teams if the successful applicant wanted to but this is not essential. A confident and approachable person who is enthusiastic about growing the game, creating sessions for all ages and abilities to come to.
All coaches applying with an expression of interest must have;
- Relevant tennis qualification
- All safeguarding qualifications
- Insurance LTA accreditation or accreditation+.
