We are seeking an enthusiastic, personable and well-organised Level 2 (Instructor), or above, coach to join our dynamic coaching team. The ideal candidate will have had previous experience of delivering quality and engaging tennis sessions to squads (ages 4-11) and, preferably, schools (key stage 1 and 2).

Sessions will be delivered at Ormskirk Tennis Club and/or surrounding West Lancashire schools and therefore having your own transport is essential.
We currently have circa 20 x hours of work available (split over full and half days) spread across Monday to Sunday (exact days and times of work negotiable with the Head Coach). Additional work, such as holiday camps (during school holidays) and one to one lessons ae also available.

Equipment and guidance regarding lesson plans will be provided.

The successful candidate will be expected to undertake a small amount of admin work, associated with the role, each week.

For clarity, the successful candidate will be considered self-employed and not an employee of Ormskirk Tennis Club.

Ormskirk Tennis Club is a proactive and innovative tennis club that has 5 x outdoor artificial clay courts, 2 of which are floodlit.
We have just over 100 senior members and over 150 junior members. We are also very proud to have previously been a Tennis Lancashire Club of the Year winner.
The current coaching team comprises 2 x Coaches and 4 x Coaching Assistants and we are looking to expand to be able to meet demand, particularly in relation to our schools tennis programme, which is currently delivered across 10 primary schools and 2 high schools.

It is essential that the successful candidate will have successfully delivered squad tennis to those aged 4-11 previously.

It is desirable that the successful candidate will have successfully delivered schools tennis to those aged 4-11 (key stage 1 and 2) previously.
