All the existing Avenue coaches have waiting lists for private lessons, so the new coach will get lessons straight away and the right coach will be able to build up a healthy business very quickly this summer.

You will be part of a great coaching team that works co-operatively together to deliver a first class, efficient coaching programme.

Your coaching will be a mix of 121s (Junior & Adult), junior programme from tots to teens, adult coached drop ins, camps, open days, running tournaments & looking after teams.

Ideally we would like someone full time, but we will consider a part time role for the right coach available on the right days, either way you must be available for weekend work

The Avenue Tennis Club is a small family-based club, with 3 floodlit (until 10pm) porous tarmacadam courts (considering a change to artificial grass next year) and 1 purpose built junior court for U10s.

We have nearly 400 members, run 5 adult teams and 6 junior teams. We run comprehensive coaching and social play programmes; there is truly something for everyone 7 days a week. The Avenue is a very friendly community

In the last 5 years, our Head Coach has been awarded Middlesex Coach of the Year, the Club, Club of the Year and one of our junior coaches, Young person of the Year! We strive for excellence!

You will have lots of experience coaching children

Have first class communications skills and a good command of English

You will be reliable and a very good keeper of time!

Hold a valid Enhanced DBS Check

Ideally live close to the club (N3 2LE) as you will work as early as 8 am and sometimes finish as late as 9pm

You will be well organised, enthusiastic and available to start in April
