A feast of tennis and entertainment

Whether you’re looking to sit in a relaxed surrounding on the decking and enjoy our live music or have a walk around the Tournament Village there is something for everyone.

Our Tournament Village will showcase a range of exhibitors including Babolat, British Athletics, Healthspan and get your hands on some great tournament merchandise in our Edgbaston Priory Club shop! 

There are plenty of tempting food and drink options on site, including a BBQ Zone, Public catering marquee which is includes are variety of food and drinks, Terrace Bar and a new coffee bar. For those with a sweeter tooth, the official ice cream of British Tennis, Häagen-Dazs will be on sale in the public catering areas.

‘Wimbledon Presents the Living Surface’ exhibition: Saturday 16 - Sunday 24 June

The tournament is also hosting a ‘Wimbledon Presents the Living Surface’ exhibition to showcase grass court tennis and whet appetites ahead of the Championships, Wimbledon, which begin just eight days after the end of the Classic.

Visitors to the Nature Valley Classic can now do the following as part of the exhibition’s ‘Great on Grass’ section:

  • Discover the history, technology and science that goes into creating the grass tennis courts like those at the Edgbaston Priory Club.
  • Fans can also take photos of themselves with replicas of the Wimbledon Singles’ Champions Trophies in front of our selfie wall with the chance to win prizes!
  • Watch highlights from every Wimbledon singles final since 1970.

Live music on and off court

Live music will be played throughout the tournament to keep spectators entertained inbetween the on court action. Live bands scheduled to play this year include:

  • Ricky Cool and the In Crowd
  • Mariachi Kings
  • George Huxley
  • Hot House Jazz
  • Tiptina
  • Son Cubano

Plus musical star Emma Hatton will be singing live before the singles final on the Ann Jones Centre Court on Sunday 24 June. Hatton received rave reviews last year for her performance as Eva Perón in Evita at the Phoenix Theatre in London’s West End and also starred in the UK touring production of the hit show.

Mark Curry - Master of Ceremonies

Staffordshire-born TV and stage star and tennis aficionado Mark Curry returns to the Ann Jones centre court as Master of Ceremonies for the tournament. Curry shot to fame as presenter of Blue Peter before forging a successful acting career. He starred, most recently, as the Wizard in the hugely successful West End version of Wicked and showed plenty of fancy footwork on his way to winning last year’s Children in Need Strictly Come Dancing special on the BBC.
