Former US Open runner-up and current world No.7, Fritz, will be aiming to win the Lexus Open Eastbourne title for a fifth time. The American is already the most successful player in tournament history and won his first career ATP title on the south coast back in 2019.
“As I said on-court last year, there's obviously something about Eastbourne, I just love it,” Fritz said. “There's a great energy around the tournament, the fans always come out and give us incredible support.
“I won my first ATP title there, so great memories and success over the years since, and I'm excited to be back and see if I can make it a fifth time lifting the trophy there."
The 28-year-old has won 10 titles on the ATP Tour, his biggest trophy coming at the ATP Masters 1000 Indian Wells in 2022.
He boasts an impressive record on grass, and in 2025 added another title on the surface in Stuttgart as well as defeating Jenson Brooksby to the Eastbourne trophy.
More players are set to be announced over the coming weeks and months as we get set for another action-packed summer of tennis.
