Nottinghamshire Ladies 65+ County Report

Sadly, we only played 2 matches, against Leicestershire at home and Lincolnshire away. This was due to Covid worries and the fact that Wendy Scalinger, one of our long-standing, most enthusiastic and loyal players, has been unable to play this year.
However, it gave another good player the opportunity to represent Notts, Margot Kersh, who played both matches and won every set with Ann Brown.
Rosie Watkins and Jackie Reek also performed well, winning both rubbers against Leicestershire and coming very close in their rubbers against Lincolnshire.
Steph Smith was also due to make her debut for Notts against Norfolk, but unfortunately, they pulled out at the last minute.
Thank you to everyone for their effort and enthusiasm, and best wishes to Wendy for better health next year.
