County support
We’re here to help our venues become the best they can be.
There are 1000’s of venues across Britain, including clubs, parks, leisure centres, schools, etc, which provide people with opportunities to play and enjoy tennis every day.
We offer a wide range of tailored support to ensure that you have everything you need to encourage more players to come and get involved.
From growing memberships to taking tennis to new places – here’s some guidance, tools and resources to help you support your tennis community.
Venue management, finances, growing members... we know that running a tennis venue requires a lot of hard work, but don’t worry, we’ve got a whole host of resources to help you along the way.
Take a look at our support hub, full of information to develop your venue in Nottinghamshire.
Here in Nottinghamshire, we want to get as many schools playing tennis as possible.
Introducing LTA Youth Schools – a tennis programme designed especially for schools and to support the curriculum with a range inclusive PE lesson plans, personal development resources, teacher training and much more.
The best part? All the training is free, and if you complete it, your school will receive a £250 voucher to get some new tennis kit.

Any club registered with the Nottinghamshire LTA can apply for a loan, which can be used to help improve the infrastructure at your venue.
Each year, we highlight the incredible achievements and contributions of people across Nottinghamshire and Britain, with our annual LTA Tennis Awards.
Launched in 2015 with the help of former LTA president Cathie Sabin OBE, the awards recognise the many thousands of inspirational individuals involved in tennis, dedicating their time and energy to our sport. Volunteers, coaches, officials, venues, events – we want to celebrate you!
Winners are judged from over 2,000 public nominations and are first judged by County Associations, resulting in 380 County award winners who are then put forward for Regional awards and finally the National awards.
We hold an annual County awards evening in March – bringing together all the amazing people who make tennis in Nottinghamshire what it is. More information will be released nearer the time.
