About us
The Isle of Man LTA is the associated body for tennis in the Isle of Man. We’re a not for profit organisation registered with the LTA of Great Britain. We work in partnership towards a vision of ‘tennis opened up’ alongside our partners. Collaboratively we work with our sponsors to make tennis relevant, accessible, welcoming and enjoyable.
Our tennis network includes:
- 5 Registered tennis clubs
- 4 Accredited coaches
- 21 Volunteers
- 4 Park sites with courts
Tennis Isle of Man is run by a team of volunteers and one part-time member of staff, our Tennis Development Officer (TDO).
Each year our Registered Clubs elect an Executive Committee which has the responsibility for running the sport in the Isle of Man. This Committee meets quarterly to determine the ongoing strategy of tennis on the Island.
We also have a Development Committee and Competitions Committee who meet every six to eight weeks to organise the delivery of the strategy and oversee the day to day running and development of the game. These Committees are led by the TDO, who is a member of, and reports to the Executive Committee.
