Becoming a Tennis Competition Organiser

Competition Organisers are the people that organise local tennis competitions (Grades 6 and 7) which usually last between 2 to 4 hours. They will be involved before, during and after the competition and the information below will help you to see how you can get involved. 

Competition Organiser course

The course is 3 hours long and at the end of the session you will be prepared to confidently deliver your first competition and assist a club, coach or committee in planning competitions.

The course will include;

• Guidance on how to plan and run your competition
• Competition format guidance and best practise depending on the number of players and their standard
• Tips to help you to plan your welcome presentation to players and parents and your prize giving presentation

When attending you will be given a toolkit to help you start running competitions.
