High Performance Centres (HPCs) are run as independent units offering high-level coaching and fitness regimes.
There is a network of 19 High Performance Centres across the country providing a base to meet the needs of developing tennis players.
There are also a number of Independent Tennis Academies that provide a combination of an intensive tennis programme and academic study.
Some HPCs also offer the opportunity to continue with education, where this is the case there are two options:

TEAMBATH offers players a holistic approach towards developing the individual person as well as the tennis player. They work with two schools in the local area Ralph Allen School, a state school and Monkton Combe, a private boarding school
Bolton Arena has linked with Rivington & Blackrod High School to offer a flexible education package allowing serious players the opportunity of up to 3 hours of tennis per day and 1 hour of physical conditioning.
fc** Tennis Academy provides an integrated programme of educational and tennis development for performance players. Academic education is provided by Laidlaw Education which tailors a bespoke program for each individual student. This can include individual and group lessons; specialist help for students with learning difficulties and guidance for private study. Education is available for all stages up to A level.
As well as ensuring that they are providing players with the opportunity to fulfil their competitive potential, Gosling combine with Batchwood HPC to offer players study through a distance-learning programme. These players benefit from a dedicated study environment at the tennis centre.
The structure of the Academy combines intensive on-court training, practical work experience, coach education qualifications and a sport specific academic programme. A professional coaching environment provides all students with a sound knowledge base coupled with specific practical experience.
Richard Huish College provides students with the opportunities to combine the high standard academic education with a broad range of extra curricular activities. The school has a strong link with the South West Tennis Academy.
STA offers performance players of all ages the opportunity to combine an intensive tennis programme with education at Cheam High School, or through distance learning programmes that take place on site in a dedicated learning environment.
The club is committed to providing quality training and tournament programmes for the players who are invited to access the HPC. West Hants combine with Wessex Home Tuition to offer tailored education programmes to a number of their performance players.
Win Tennis is specifically aimed at full time tennis players who want to reach the top. The Win Tennis academy teachers, coaches and trainers motivate and develop young talent to the highest standards and work alongside the existing national & international tennis structures.
WimX Tennis Academy offers bespoke training programs and GCSE & A levels through the Freedom School. Players attend classes on 1 or 2 occasions a week where they have close contact with their teachers for a couple of hours per week per subject, allowing more time for their tennis.
At MyTennis we are dedicated to developing the student athlete in partnership with Loughborough University and Loughborough College. We provide an on-site academic study programme as part of the MyTennis School. The MyTennis School targets players aged 10-16 with the potential and aspiration to achieve a career in professional tennis and/or the tennis industry and provides them with an elite full-time tennis and physical training programme to fit harmoniously with mainstream academic qualifications. We also deliver the Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence for players aged 16+ linking closely with Loughborough College (or your chosen further education provider) in the provision of A-Level and BTEC qualifications."
