Summer Junior Competition Explained

Summer Junior Competition provides competitive opportunities nationwide for juniors at all levels from local, county, regional through to national level and run from 1st April to 31st August.

The summer competition structure is made up of three main tours plus additional local tournaments run by clubs and competition organisers, as well as top national level competitions, the AEGON Clay Court Championships & AEGON British Junior National Championships.

Leaderboards

Competitions at Grade 2 to Grade 5, in the category of National Tour, Regional Tour or County Tour will be part of a circuit with a leaderboard.

The Leaderboards will show how players are going during the season in a series of competitions that are part of the National Tour, Regional Tour or County Tour

What happens at the end of the Tour?

There is something for each of the Tours, which players will be aiming towards when playing the competitions that are part of that Tour.

• For the Summer National Tour there is a link to the AEGON British Junior National Championships, full details can be found on the Summer National Tour page.
• For the AEGON Summer Regional Tour, the top players on the leaderboard at the end of the Tour will qualify for the AEGON Summer Regional Tour Finals (previously AEGON Junior Grand Prix Masters), full details can be found on the AEGON Summer Regional Tour page.
• For the Summer County Tour, prizes will be awarded to those at the top of the leaderboards at the end of the Tour, further details can be found on the Summer County Tour page.
