All you need to start playing in competitions is to be a British Tennis Member, this gives you a membership number and player rating, which helps identify you and makes sure your match results are recorded.

It is possible to enter and pay for some competitions online and parents and coaches can do this on behalf of players.
Some competitions do not yet offer online entry and payment. For these you need to complete a simple entry form giving basic competition information. Information on gaining an entry form will be published for each competition which does not have online entry.
You can then email or post the entry form to the competition organiser. When you find a competition to enter using the find a tournament search or from your county office it will give you information on how to enter.
