Queen’s and Eastbourne ATP Events to stream on Amazon Prime

• 2 MINUTE READ

Next year’s ATP World Tour events at The Queen’s Club Championships and International Eastbourne will take centre stage in a revolutionary UK streaming package on Amazon Prime Video.

In addition, Amazon will have exclusive rights in the UK to stream the ATP World Tour Masters 1000s and 12 of each of the 500s and 250s from 2019 to 2023.

Further good news for British tennis fans will see Amazon take on exclusive pay-TV rights for the season-ending Nitto ATP Finals at The O2 in London.

This service will complement the long-standing free to air terrestrial agreements with the BBC for The Queen’s Club Championships (ATP) and The International Eastbourne (WTA), both renewed earlier this year until at least 2024.

A further announcement confirming domestic broadcast partners for The Open Nottingham, The Classic Birmingham and The International Eastbourne is expected in the coming weeks.

Stephen Farrow, Queen’s Club Championships Tournament Director, said: “We are extremely excited to announce our partnership with Amazon and to be part of such an innovative, exciting move by the ATP and ATP Media in how men’s tennis is brought to the UK audience.

“This deal represents a significant step forward in broadening the reach of our most celebrated event, ensuring that we reach the widest possible and most diverse audience. We are committed year on year to improving The Queen’s Club Championships, bringing fans even closer to the action and making their experience better than ever.”

Olly Scadgell, LTA Director of Major Events and Competitions, said: "Our partnership with Amazon represents a great opportunity to take our Major Events to a new audience.

“We are committed to making these bigger and better and the changes introduced this year which saw Eastbourne re-combine with high quality men’s and women’s tennis was part of this approach, working with Amazon will see the men's event at The International Eastbourne streamed live on Amazon Prime, further enhancing the experience for our fans and followers."
