Despite the eyes of the Tennis World being on SW19, some of our Yorkshire Players have been in action in Nottingham, at the latest stage of the AEGON British Tour.

Anna Fitzpatrick, an AEGON tour regular, has reached the Semi Final of the women’s singles at Nottingham, after a convincing 6-1, 6-3 win over Staffordshire’s Amy Sergeant in the Quarter Finals. Anna has set up a final match against Yasmin Clarke, who knocked out Yorkshire’s Joanna Craven 6-3, 6-2, in the Quarter Finals and Lancashire’s Amy Askew, 6-3, 6-4, in her semi final.

Both Fitzpatrick and Clarke have made it to the final without dropping a set, ensuring that Saturday’s final will be one to watch.
