The aim of this competition is to provide players of all abilities with the opportunity to compete in a school team tennis competition, with more successful teams able to progress on a pathway to a national final.

The entry period is in January with matches being played March through to December.   Teams compete in a local league stage, which leads to regional knockout rounds, quarter final stage and a national final.

This year thirty two teams took part in the Boys and Girls Divisions in this year's AEGON Schools Team Tennis.

In the Wiltshire Leagues, Marlborough School, group winners of Boys and Girls Year 10, St Mary’s Calne, group winners of Girls Year 8 and Dauntseys School , group winners of Year 8 Boys went onto the County Finals which were played in October

Dauntsey’s School are also to be congratulated in getting through to the Regional finals played in November. Unfortunately they did not progress to the finals, losing to Sir Thomas Rich School from Gloucester.
