Last weekend, at Billesley,Indoor Tennis Centre, Birmingham, Streetly regained the Stone Cup, the Warwickshire Mixed Doubles Championship, when they the holders and local rivals Four Oaks in the final.

After defeating Edgbaston Priory, Blossomfield and West Warwickshire, the Streetly pairing of Matt Brennan and Hayley McClaughlin met holders Four Oaks in a repeat of the 2009 final.

The Streetly pair emerged victorious after a close and exciting final with Matt and Hayley beating Harry Busby and Cath Jukes 7-5, 6-2 to regain the title.

Streetly will be fielding Mens, Ladies and 2 mixed teams in the Warwickshire Winter leagues. If you are interested in competitive or social winter tennis, Streetly, with 8 floodlit astro turf courts, still has a few winter memberships available.
