In November 2009 the Tennis Wales Team introduced a coach incentive/reward scheme to reward the coaches in South Wales that achieved the greatest increase in regularly competing juniors (juniors playing 6 or more singles or doubles matches in a year) at their club on a month by month basis. The first month began on December 1st and ran until January 4th.
The winning coaches with an overall increase of 14 Regularly Competing Juniors (RCJ's) are those of:
In second place with an increase of 10 RCJ's is: Newport Tennis Centre
In joint third place with an increase of 6 RCJ's is: Abergavenny Tennis Club, Crickhowell Tennis Club and Haverfordwest Lawn Tennis Club.
Many congratulations to all coaches working at the 5 clubs above and especially to those at Swansea Tennis Centre. A box of brand new Wilson US Open Tennis Balls are on their way to you.
See how you did in December
The next month begins now and will run until February 1st. Good Luck!
