Players from Esporta Brighton (one of the 19 LTA High Performance Centres) gained vital international experience over the Easter Break.

Sam Chamberlain, Harrison Seward, Keelan Oakley, Joe Rogers, Joe Mills, Kyria Dunford and Abbi Melrose went to Malta for a grade 4 Junior ITF event.

The following two weeks saw the clubs best 18/U players travel to Nottingham for more junior ITF events. There were many good performances at these two events and four players returned with junior world ranking points. The players were Joe Rogers, Keelan Oakley, Kyria Dunford and Abbi Melrose.

Meanwhile Sussex’s Natasha Khan, who trains with Rhys Hanger at Esporta Brighton, is back on the road travelling in Europe as she looks to break back into the Worlds top 500.  Jade Windley, ranked inside 800 in the world is recovering from a foot injury and should be back competing soon.

Finally international experience was also gained by Tommy Bennett over the Easter break with a 16/U European tournament at Roehampton followed by a European event in Turkey.
