With over 500 singles entries it was a busy week of tennis with many high class matches being played.

The event was being played alongside the AEGON British tour event so there was a mixture of age groups playing throughout the week.

Fitting all the matches in proved to be a difficult task for the tournament organisers as one full day’s play had to be abandoned due to rain.
