Shalford Tennis Club, near Guildford has become the latest Surrey club to achieve Clubmark accreditation.

Matt Trevail, Head Coach and Membership Secretary at Shalford has over the past three years helped develop Shalford from a quiet three court site to a thriving club with adult, junior and mini tennis coaching and competition.

Having achieved Clubmark accreditation Shalford has shown a commitment to child protection, equity and is delivering a good level of club management and coaching among other factors.

On achieving accreditation Matt commented:

"It is good to know the club has in place key standards that can be followed to support the programme and the well being of the people that play here.”
