The Newmarket Tennis Club played host to 15 pairs of racing personalities when its inaugural mixed doubles tennis tournament took place on Sunday 10th July.
It has been a very busy time for Culford School’s tennis teams at the various National Schools Competitions over the past few weeks.
Tennis tournaments come and tennis tournaments go, but next week sees the annual pilgrimage to Framlingham College, as excited players of all ages and abilities compete in the event which has a very special place in their hearts, and is, quite simply- not to be missed ! The first week in August means that the annual delight which is Framlingham has thankfully come round again, Monday morning seeing hundreds of enthusiasts arriving at the picturesque setting of the College grounds and knowing that both a competitive and enjoyable week’s tennis lies ahead as the 118th event gets underway.
