Welcome to the Scottish Schools Team Tennis Championships 2011/12. Please find information on this year’s competition to help you prepare for your matches.
Draw
The draw is viewable online here. To find your team, please filter through the leagues until you find your school name. To view your fixtures click on the ‘matches’ tab. The team listed first is the home team.
Format
Each match will consist of two tie break sets and a championship tie break to 10 for the 3rd set. In the first two sets a tie break shall operate at 6-6, whilst the third set shall be determined by one match tie break (up to 10 points). In the event that the total number of matches should be 3-3 then a doubles match tie break to 10 points should be played to determine the winning team. The doubles pair must consist of one player from each of the original doubles pairings.
Team Contacts
The list of team contacts can be found here. To view team contact information, simply click on the opposing team name. Their details will then appear. It is both team captains responsibility to contact each other before the match. We suggest contacting all opponent captains before your first match. If you give the captaincy on match day to another person please make sure they have the necessary information.
British Tennis Membership
To be eligible to compete in the Scottish Schools Team Tennis Championships, players must be British Tennis Members (BTM) – this is free to all club members and registered schools. As team captain it is your responsibility to make sure every player in your team is BTM registered. More information is available at here.
Results
