It has been a busy month for tennis in Central Scotland. Following the success of the Central / Tayside Tournament Circuit over the past few months, the next event in the calendar was the Central Scotland Closed Championships which attracted over 80 entries from juniors and seniors at clubs in the Central District.
This year's event was held at Stirling, Bridge of Allan and Livilands Tennis Club. Many of the trophies up for grabs date back from 70 years ago, and in more recent years Andy and Jamie Murray and Colin Fleming have managed to get their names on some of the junior trophies. This year's event was organised and refereed by Central District Coach Adam Brown.
