There was success for the Mens 35's however with Scott Nisbet, Jonathan Barr and Austin Coventry topping their section.

Scotland finished just behind the host nation in the Womens 35's, 45's and 50's while the Mens 45's narrowly lost out to Wales following a countback. The Men's 50's team of Eric Dalgetty, Derek Munro and Russell Howat (pictured) finished in third place.

The closeness of the competition was demonstrated by the fact there were no fewer than thirteen championship tie-breaks throughout the three day's play.
