North of Scotland captain Ian Conway is seen here receiving the Tennis Scotland Team of the Year award from Tennis Scotland President Christine Lawrie. North took the honours after the squad of Colin Fleming, Johny Pankhurst, Graeme Darlington, Owen Hadden, Steven Birrell, Johny Lints and Mike Fleming retained their place in Group 1 of the British Summer County Cup.
This year the North County squad continues in the top flight at Eastbourne. The premier division consists of Britain's top six counties, with North Scotland facing Lancashire, Hertfordshire, Yorkshire, Warwickshire and Dorset.
No other Scottish county has consistently performed at this level in the 115 years of this event and this year the North County are hoping to include in their squad the Davis Cup and Wimbledon doubles partnership of Colin Fleming and Jamie Murray.
