Dunblane LTC coach, Katharine Brown, has made it into the final 10 of the Miss Scotland competition.
Katharine, (22) is originally from Dunblane but left the town for London to pursue her modelling career after stepping out of the tennis limelight she had enjoyed as a youngster.
“I stopped playing competitive tennis when I was 16 but I don’t regret it,” she said. “I still enjoy it though these days it’s more through coaching."
Her tennis skills came in handy when she featured in an episode of “Trial and Retribution” last year.
And as part of the Miss Scotland competition she has chosen to support the Dan Maskell Tennis Trust, which aims to help disabled people play tennis.
Katharine will be taking time out from her preparations, ahead of next week’s star studded Miss Scotland final, to attend this week’s AEGON Pro-Series, Edinburgh which is taking place at Craiglockhart.
Katharine will be available for pictures / interview at Craiglockhart at 3 pm on Wednesday 6th May.
