Tennis Scotland Councillor and Tennis Tayside stalwart Douglas Gibson has been honoured at the Perth and Kinross Sports Council Awards Ceremony.

The Scone Tennis Club coach was awarded the "sportscotland in partnership with Scottish Association of Local Sports Councils Local Services to Sport Award."

The award criteria was for "developing potential, achieving excellence, widening opportunities" and Douglas was nominated in several categories.
