Whilst there was disappointment at Wimbledon yesterday as Andy Murray bowed out at the semi-final stage, there were titles for Emma Devine, Jonny O'Mara and Andrew Quirk at the Grade 2 Scottish Junior Open at the Craiglockhart Tennis Centre.
15-year-old Devine led the way with two titles, taking the 16 and under and 18 and under girls singles titles to continue a remarkable season for the Edinburgh player.
Arbroath's O'Mara, also 15, was unseeded in the boys 18 and under singles, but made a real impression throughout the week taking out seeds in every round before lifting the title in style with a 6-1 6-1 victory over Cheshire's Stephen Crawshaw.
Quirk from Glasgow, playing with Northumberland's Benjamin Lott, won the 16 and under boys doubles titles.
