The mini tennis events proved popular at this years Scottish Tennis Holidays Open Tennis Tournament held at Strathallan School in Perthshire.
In the green 10 & under events, there was double delight for the East of Scotland with Jacob Fearnley and Charlotte Mair picking up the titles. Jacob came from behind to win his second successive 10 & under title with a gutsy 5-4 win against the top seed, Lewis Hall (North), whilst Charlotte ousted her twin sister Jessica by the same score.
The West's Eve Lumsden triumphed in the girls orange 9 & under event, winning all 5 of her round robin matches. Edinburgh's Robbie Croll edged out 10 & under winner, Jacob Fearnley in the boys 9 & under final after losing to him in the 10 & under semi-final.
In the boys 8 & under red ball event, the West's Ben Wilson took the title.
A special mention must go to tournament organiser, Jane Morrison, for all her hard work, enthusiasm and good humour.
