Two Northumberland juniors, Amy Hoburn and Lucy Matthewson, competed in the AEGON 18 & Under Master's Tournament at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton from 15th-17th January.

They both did extremely well to qualify for the event at the NTC, and both had some nail-biting sets with their opponents. Lucy reached the finals of the playback draw, winning against Brielle Koulen, 6-1 6-4 in an impressive match.
Amy reached the quarter finals of the playback draw, eventually losing to Kyria Dunford, 1-6 7-6(3) 10-4.
