Tom Kinloch - LTA Councillor

Tom joined the NLTA Council in 1998 having been involved in County tennis as the referee of The Northumberland Open since 1995, which he still referees.  He was appointed as LTA Councillor for the County in 2000 and has served on numerous boards and committees, including 2 years on the Main Board as a Council Elected Member and now sits on the Main Board as Chairman of the National Tennis Operations Advisory & Scrutiny Board.  Vice-Chairman of the County since 2004 and Chairman of the Northumberland Tennis Academy (HPC), Tom is also an ITF/ATP/WTA Gold Badge Referee.

Martin Clark - County Secretary

Martin has served on the Northumberland Council since 1994, he is currently Chairman of both the Northumberland Open Tennis Tournament and the Sport Newcastle Tournament (formerly the South Northumberland Open Tournament).  He is also one of the longest standing members of the Northumberland Club, where he not only played for the teams but also served on the committee as Tennis Chairman for a number of years. Prior to this Martin was a member of Beverley Park LTC where he also served on the committee.

George Murphy - County Treasurer

Chartered Accountant, retired after 20 years as partner in private practice.  Club Treasurer of Cullercoats LTC since 1991, regular player in Northumberland and Durham Tennis Leagues, Northumberland LTA Treasurer since 2002.

Jo Cunliffe - Tennis Development Manager (TDM)

Jo joined British Tennis in September 2007 having previously worked as a coach at Tennis World (Middlesbrough), Stokesley TC, Great Broughton TC, Reigate and David Lloyd Teesside.  Jo was very successful as a junior player and after leaving school went to America on a tennis scholarship.  Her role covers the counties of Durham & Cleveland, Northumberland and Cumbria.  She has a tremendous passion for the sport and has endless energy and enthusiasm.  Jo continues to play tennis for Durham & Cleveland Ladies County Cup team.

Mike Woods - Talent Performance Coordinator (TPC)

Mike has worked for many years as a Performance Coach and has held previous roles of National Training Coach North East and County Performance Officer for Wiltshire as well as many other roles for British Tennis. In his current Talent Performance Coordinator role he covers Cumbria, Durham & Cleveland and Northumberland working with players under the age of 10 in accordance with the National Competition and Talent Framework.
Mike is a lifelong Newcastle United supporter and attends as many games as possible when work permits. 
He is also known to play the occasional game of tennis and squash and even visits the gym when he is in the mood.

Graeme Clarkson - Facility Project Manager (FPM)

Graeme has worked in British Tennis for many years. Before taking his current post he worked as Tennis Manager for Durham & Cleveland and Northumberland.  In his current Facility Project Manager role he covers a large area including Durham & Cleveland, Northumberland, Cumbria, Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cheshire and Scotland. Graeme is also a qualified coach and tutor.

Lisa Lemberger - Tennis Services Assistant (TSA)

Lisa started working for British Tennis in February of 2009 and works from the Durham & Cleveland County office servicing both North East Counties. She previously worked from home on a self-employed basis doing work for Durham & Cleveland and Northumberland LTA. Lisa is an accredited referee and is actively involved in Cullercoats Tennis Club. 

Christine Klee - Tennis Services Assistant (TSA)

Christine joined the team in January 2010. She is an avid follower of tennis, and plays for her local club in Newcastle, and used to play for the ladies team at University of Glasgow up until 2007.
She gained her degree from University of Glasgow in 2007, and since then has worked for Newcastle University, Newcastle College, and has been travelling around the world. She is also an accredited referee.
