CAN YOU HELP WITH TENNIS COMPETITIONS?

In order to get more juniors competing more often there needs to be more opportunities to take part in local competitions. If you are 16 -25, enthusiastic and organised, you can be part of helping to provide these opportunities by training as a volunteer competition organiser.

What is the training?
A simple and fun 3 hour workshop delivered locally by the Kent County Tennis Team. The workshop is active and practical on mini tennis red courts in a sports hall. It includes different scoring formats, setting up courts, information about the LTA’s National Competition Framework, player ratings, competition formats and the organisation process for before, during and after an event.

The workshop is free of charge AND you will be given a competition organisers toolkit, a certificate of attendance and a competition organiser t-shirt.

What you can do after the training?
The workshop is followed by the opportunity to get involved in local tennis competitions so you can put your skills into practice You will be able to support a variety of competitions and you can run low level competitions of your own. You can do this individually or with a friend.
