Ladies 35's battle it out.
 
Except for a wet Saturday morning the sun shone and the usual Eastbourne wind was almost managable.Two debuts were given this year to Kate Hands and Jaqueline Bowen, both performed admirably, as did the whole team. We were nearly always last to finish, such was the closeness of all our matches, and if only a few key points were to have gone our way we would have had the wins our efforts deserved.
 
However that was not to be and our results were as follows : - 

Lost to Hamphire and IOW 4-1, lost to Dorset 2-1 (rain affected), lost to South Wales 3-2.
We are relegated to group 4.

The team was Hazel Lindfield, Capt (Park Langley), Jaqueline Bowen, Jane Gentle (Sevenoaks), Kate Hands (Blackheath), Rachel Payne (Bromley Lawn), and Suzy Russell (Sundridge Park).
