The team of Neil and Lucy Howitt, Marie Bell and Steve Evans/Nick Tremaine reached the finals of the National Junior Mixed Veterans Championships at Dudley after some particularly hard fought competition along the way.

After a tight semi final win over Leicester the reigning champions, the final should have been against Walmer from Kent but due to a bereavement, East Glos was handed the trophy. This is the team's second win in 3 years and I would like to congratulate Neil and Lucy who are still unbeaten.

The Ladies over 35 team faced stiff opposition in Harpenden LTC and despite all their best efforts were pipped at the post. Having been two rubbers down after the first round, Marie Bell and Liz Cowan,. Lucy Howitt and Kate Moore, rallied to tie the match at 2-2 but missed out by a set. We will get revenge!
