The Tony Blair Sports Foundation Schools Sports Partnership Final was held on Friday 2 July at Sunderland Tennis Centre.
The final comprised of the following two teams from Gateshead, Newcastle, North Tyneside, South Tyneside and Sunderland:

The teams were split into two groups of five with the girls undertaking the Tennis Factory Challenges first whilst the boys played their tennis matches. Once complete the boys went on to the Tennis Factory Challenges and the girls played their matches.
A total of 160 matches were played and the points form the match results were added to the Tennis Factory Challenges results to find the winning teams from each group.
The Group A winners were Mill Hill Primary from Sunderland with 556 points and Group B winners were Priory Primary School from North Tyneside with 579 points. Priory Primary School were also crowned Tyne and Wear Champions.
Both teams will now represent Tyne and Wear at the North East Regional Final on Friday 9 July at Sunderland Tennis Centre.
The final also utilised 21 Sports Leaders form Sandhill View School who umpired all the matches and kept score on all the Tennis Factory Challenges.
