Meet the Dorset LTA Team.
James started working for the LTA in 2007 part time at Tennis Wales and in Somerset. He moved to his current role in Somerset and Dorset in late 2007. James main focus is to improve junior competition and support clubs to develop the service they provide to the tennis playing community.
Dan joined the Dorset & Somerset County team as the Talent and Performance Coordinator in August 2011. His role is to identify, select, develop, advise and monitor players in line with the National Talent Identification system and Competition Framework. He offers support and advice when necessary to coaches and parents on the best opportunities for the player to develop further. He is also responsible for assessing and advising the performance programmes as they are delivered within the county.
Alistair joined the Dorset and Somerset team in April 2010. Before joining the LTA Alistair graduated from the University of Stirling with a 2.1 degree in Psychology and Sport Studies, and was part of the Scholarship tennis squad for 4 years. Originally from Bedfordshire and a former county player, Alistair is responsible for the overall management of the Dorset LTA County office as well as providing administrative support to the Tennis Development Manager and the Talent Performance Co-ordinator.
