17 year old Jack Findel-Hawkins claimed the boys’ singles title at the 18 & under AEGON Winter National Tour Finals after defeating Nicholas Jones 6-3, 6-0 in the final.

After the match, No.2 seed Jack said; “It feels very good to win this national event with all my hard work, on and off the court paying off.”

Jack will now move up to No.1 in the 18 & under rankings.

When asked about his preparation for the week Jack explained; “I try and be very positive and I tried to move forward. My serve was very good this week, helping me to earn lots of free points and both my forehand and backhand were very effective.”

This not the first success Jack has enjoyed, he has also won a Grade two Winter National Tour event at Bolton was a finalist in the Grade one British Tour event at Taunton.
