Fantastic finish to Winter League for Cumbria mini players!
The Cumbria U18 Girls’ team played at Sutton Tennis Academy in London. With a day’s delay and a change in format due to a team withdrawing we started on Saturday playing all singles.
Cumbria played host to two mini tennis leagues this winter, and after 4 months, we have a winner!
The newly introduced county training programme has made a huge difference in the preparation of the team both on and off court.
Coach Caroline Clutterbuck recently descended on Dalton Co-op in Cumbria in order to raise money for Comic Relief, but also to raise awareness of tennis in the area.
