Silloth Tennis Club held its’ 8^th Junior presentation night on December 10^th with over 70 parents and players in attendance.

Using the main hall in Silloth Sports & Social Club, which is the main sponsor of the club, Cumbria LTA Executive Committee Member Pat Taylor was on hand to present the awards to players from the age of 6 to 16 with the usual most improved and player of the year categories being complimented with special “Rising Star” awards, Club Junior of the Year, County Recognition and Team awards.

The awards were accompanied by a buffet, disco, raffle and Stand up Bingo with the club making over £150 for club funds.

The winners on the night were:

Boy Player of the Year:
Under 8 - Max Paton
Under 10 - Ben Stoddart
Under 12 - Jamie Dixon
Under 16 - Matty Birkett 

Girl Player of the Year:
Under 6 - Sophie Hetherington
Under 8 - Anna Fisher
Under 10 - Eve Fisher
Under 12 - Leah Richardson
Under 16 - Emily Wise

Most Improved Boy of the Year:
Under 8 - Kian Orchard
Under 10 -Kieron Oliver
Under 12 - Joe Gilroy
Under 16 - Matty Middleton

Most Improved Girl of the Year:
Under 6 - Darcy Slack
Under 8 - Milly Henderson
Under 10 - Megan Heath
Under 12 - Robyn Scott

Club Juniors of the Year:
Josh Stoddart and Ella Thompson
