In 2009 the Junior County Championships were held at Chatsworth Tennis Club, Carlisle for the first time.  This facility was chosen because of the 'back-up' provision of indoor courts to enable all events to take place regardless of the weather conditions.   Following the Championships, a questionnaire was sent to the players asking for feedback.

Several questionnaires were returned and the responses discussed at a meeting of Cumbria LTA Executive Committee last week.  Taking into consideration the comments noted it was agreed that, once again, the Championships in 2010 would be held at Chatsworth Tennis Club, Carlisle with the possibility of some events being hosted at Bitts Park, Carlisle.

It was also noted that players travelling from the south of the county appreciated that the start time for their matches, was in general 11.00am rather than the standard 10.00am start and this certainly helped with travelling etc. Click on this link to read some of the comments received:
