STEEPLE MORDEN Tennis Club celebrated the official opening of its third court.  It comes over a year since the club first presented the Parish Council with a plan to build the court due to the increased demand for membership in the last few years.

Funding was successfully located before the project commenced in July 2011 – thanks largely to a grant offered by Amey Cespa Community Fund – and the work was completed by mid-September.

It is hoped the third court will allow the club to continue providing local people with increased opportunities to play tennis.
