LIVING SPORT, Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Sports Partnership is organising in partnership with Cambridgeshire Football Association and Cambridgeshire Cricket Board a Safeguarding & Protecting Children in Sport Conference, on 30th September 2010 – full details attached (see PDF)
The core of the Conference is the performance by GEESE which was the centerpiece of the national Child Protection in Sport Conference earlier this year, and the Child Protection in Sport Unit are very supportive of us delivering this event locally. We have also engaged with key local contacts – Cambridgeshire Police, Local Safeguarding Children Boards and Social Care services and we hope that this event will complement existing training and information available to your organization.
The offer of half price and free places is to encourage you to bring any other Member or Junior Coach to ensure that the messages around what local authorities can do to ensure that children and young people participating in sport are safeguarded, are shared across the organization.
To book online, go to http://www.livingsport.co.uk/events/by-date/2010/9 . The tickets for this conference are as follows: 1st ticket £10, 2nd ticket £5 and the 3rd ticket is free. To book a second or third ticket, please view the PM Booking 2 or booking 3 options within the calendar.
