Berkshire Boys U18 Team produced a fantastic team effort to gain promotion from Group 5A in the AEGON 18U County Cup. The team were up against some tough opposition and, at times, a lack of manpower, however, they dug in to secure a hard won promotion.

The team was captained by Nigel Mann with assistant Megan Emmett and travelled to Barnstaple for the event with cautious optimisim tempered by a team that was short on numbers. However, they came together to produce a great Team effort over the three day competition, seeing off challenges from Hereford & Worcester, Cornwall and coming up with a crucial last day win over Oxfordshire.

Great credit goes to all the players which Captain, Nigel Mann, summed up by saying "Brilliant Boys and good luck in Group 4 in 2011!!!"
