As of 1st of December 2011 if a Licensed Coach does not renew their Coach Licence within a two month period (grace period) after the date of expiry of their previous Coach Licence, it will be considered that they have left the Coach Licensing Scheme completely and are no longer a Licensed Coach.
Coaches are free to re-apply to the Coach Licensing Scheme at any time, but will be treated as a new applicant, and as such will be required to complete a new Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) disclosure as well as meeting all of the other requirements (a valid First Aid certificate and 15 credits within the last 12 months). Once they fulfill all requirements, they can apply for their new licence.
