Berkshire Tennis is supported by officials who meet during the year at executive and council meetings.
Since 1987 Valerie has attended and represented the interests of Berkshire Tennis at all LTA Council meetings as required and communicated the views and decisions of the LTA Council to all members of the Berkshire LTA Council. She comes from a Tennis playing family of some repute and has previously represented Sussex at Junior and Senior level and currently plays at o65 level for Berkshire.
Brian has been involved as Chairman for over 15 years and in this time has also undertaken the repsonsibility of being Captains Co-ordinator for all of thr Berkshire Senior County Teams. Brian plays to a good Club standard and also has a wealth of experience in Umpiring and Refereeing having overseen some of the most prestigious Tennis Events in the area
Although Robert only officially became the County Treasurer in 2004 , he had been working in a supporting role for some time before that. He was also Finance Director of the LTA from 1994 to 2004 and continues in his role as Tresurer of Caversham LTC, a post he has held since 2002.
John has been involved in his current role for the last four years. He helps to co-ordinate League schedules within the County and Chairs League Committee Meetings. Originally involved in Sport thorugh Rowing, John, has since developed a keen interest in Club development and is still a member of Bracknell LTC.
Lesley has been a member of the Berkshire Advisory Group for over 5 years now and has been greatly involved in helping Clubs in their development. In addition, her involvement with schools ensures that Teachers are provided with training opportunities to help develop Tennis within Schools and also ensuring that there is a good level of opportunity for pupils to compete. As a player, Lesley represented Sussex as a Junior and, subsequently, Berkshire in various Age Groups while she is now Ladies o40's Team Captain.
