Avon Tennis is supported by officials who meet during the year at executive and council meetings.
Olive was elected President in 2007. She works closely with the County team and represents Avon at key events and meetings. Olive has been involved with Avon tennis for over 30 years both as a key volunteer, referee and LTA employee. Olive's hard work and committment to County tennis has been invaluable.
Tony has been Chairman for over 20 years. Tony manages the County executive committee and represents Avon on the LTA council. Tony is an active tennis player and has been involved in Avon tennis since his days as a County junior.
Clive has been the County Secretary and has represented Avon at LTA Council meetings since 2003. Clive is an active ambassador for the County and attends all key events and meetings both locally and nationally. Clive is an active member at Lansdown TC.
Sarah has been the County Treasurer since 1996. Sarah oversees and manages all financial issues and matters for Avon LTA. Sarah began her involvement with Avon LTA as a member of the Tennis Parents Association. Sarah is an active social tennis player.
Meryl has been the County Competition Co-ordinator since 2001. Meryl manages key events such as AEGON Team Tennis and Road to Wimbledon. Meryl is a qualified referee and has helped train many tournament organisers. Meryl has been involved with County tennis for the past 20 years.
Malcolm has been a Club Representative for the last 9 years and also volunteers to help in the distribution of our allocation of Wimbledon tickets. Also on the League Committee, Malcolm has been League Results Secretary for the last 15 years but has now handed over to Allison Weir.
Les represents Veterans' tennis on the Avon LTA executive committee. Les is still an active tennis player and outstanding ambassador for Veterans' tennis. Les has been involved with Avon tennis for over 30 years as a parent, volunteer and schools tennis organiser.
