The Championships, Wimbledon
25th June - 8th July 2012
All England Lawn Tennis Club, Wimbledon
The following counties have chosen to be part of the new, improved online system for running their Wimbledon ballots that is designed to save time and enhance the service you receive: Cumbria, Cornwall, Wiltshire, Dorset, Somerset, Middlesex; Kent and Leicestershire.
Your club/place to play will receive an allocation of Wimbledon tickets based on its number of British Tennis Members on 1st February 2012. This will be communicated via the club’s online portal.
Your place to play will receive their allocation around Feb/March via their online portal. They will inform you directly on how and when they will be running the ballot.
If you’re an Adult or Junior British Tennis Member (BTM) on our ‘affiliated scheme’ (i.e. you don’t pay for British Tennis Membership because you’re a member of a club) and linked to an LTA Registered Place to Play/Club, you will be eligible to enter into that club’s Wimbledon ticket ballot.
As long as you’re a BTM on the day of the ballot, you’ll be eligible.
You can check that your British Tennis Membership is still active by logging in to your secure members' area and clicking on ‘Membership Shop’. You can view your Membership Start and End Dates under ‘Current Products’.
Please note that if you are on the ‘affiliated scheme’, your British Tennis Membership will automatically renew for the following year on February 28th 2012.
If you’re a member at a place to play and you’re NOT yet a British Tennis Member, you must sign up to BTM before your place to play runs its ballot in order to be included.

If your membership has lapsed, you will be invited to ‘Join British Tennis’ when you log in to the LTA website. To rejoin, click on ‘Manage Account’ and then ‘Membership Shop’.
You can check that you’re linked to your club by logging in to your secure members’ area and clicking on ‘Manage Account’ followed by ‘Place to Play Affiliation’. Your club should be listed there.
If not, select the relevant county from the dropdown menu and this will bring up a second dropdown menu with all the LTA Registered Places to Play within that county. You will then be able to select your club from the list.
Just to be sure, you should also check that you appear on your club’s list of BTMs – your club should publish a list of its BTMs closer to the time of the ballot; otherwise you can ask your club representative to check for you.
No
In the notification email, there will be an option for winners to decline their assigned tickets. If this happens in advance of a certain date (TBC) in May, then you will have the option to manually or automatically reassign these tickets to another BTM at your place to play. After this date, these tickets will go back into a central ballot.
If your details are incorrect, you may miss out on important notifications. Log in to the website to check your personal details.
