Anne Keothavong and partner Sorana Cirstea (ROU) are no longer in contention for the women's doubles title after conceding a walkover to Hao-Ching Chang (TPE) & Yung-Jan Chan (TPE).

Anne Keothavong and partner Sorana Cirstea (ROU) are through to the second round of the women's doubles after receiving a walk-over against Kai-Chen Chang (TPE) & Vania King (USA).
Keothavong & Cirstea will now face fourth seeds Hao-Ching Chang (TPE) & Yung-Jan Chan (TPE) for a place in the semi-finals.
Keothavong was also in action in the women's singles. She faced Sania Mirza of India but was narrowly defeated 6-4, 7-5.

Anne Keothavong is through to the women's second round in the PTT Pattaya Open after defeating world No.16 Dominika Cibulkova (SVK) 6-4, 6-1.
It is the first time Keothavong has beaten a top 20 player. In round two the British No.2 will take on Sania Mirza of India who defeated Ayumi Morita (JPN) 3-6, 6-1, 6-2.
Laura Robson, Heather Watson and Emily Webley-Smith have also all been in action this week in Thailand.
Robson was forced to retire when 2-5 down against Akgul Amanmuradova (UZB) due to a wrist injury.
Watson missed out in progressing in Thailand after losing out to eighth seed Vania King (USA) 6-4, 6-2.
Keothavong also hopes to further her success in the women's doubles as she pairs up with Sorana Cirstea (ROU). The pair are due to face Kai-Chen Chang (TPE) & Vania King (USA).
Webley-Smith teamed up with Wen-Hsin Hsu but the duo were narrowly defeated in three sets 3-6, 6-2, 11-9 by Shiho Akita (JPN) & Nicole Rottmann (AUT).
